- what contracts will they be going for? UN won’t happen or fishing charters.

R1 or r2 airlines will never amalgamate to anything if they keep using the same “local trash” to start up. They will have to hire staff who know what they are doing. From what I have recalled from the past with this operator is that the only “local trash” this operation keeps bringing in is the one R-Tard that finally helped run this place into the ground, he is and always has been a crooked as his finger.

With that said the ops manager that the KB hired last summer was about as trashy as they come. I mean this guy made AY look like a Pulitzer Prize winner.

Aside from the aforementioned 3 idiots the Mangers that we’re running the place, ... up until the Avmax infiltration were some of the best talent this industry has to offer.

The operation as a whole was chaos. Contracts were found, the airplanes that were used for the bids J.B sold. Operations manager was finding contracts, the huge problem was the start up crew used for the United Nations contract had no clue what they were doing. They never dealed with the U.N and what they were looking for. From issues with the base manager, to incorrect configuration of the aircraft, to base setup, they didn’t stand a chance. They hired a few high time ex voyageur staff to clean up the mess. The AOC side was way to far gone and the maintenance side was cleaned up a bit. From huge drama from FA managers hires to pilot drama, to false accusations of outsider staff. Glad the doors are closed on this place.

True, a lot of what you are stating is 100% on the nose. The rudderless ship captains AY and KB had full authority to launch the UN program without all the i’s dotted and t’s crossed, I’m pretty sure the verbiage that was used by old turkey neck was “just get f-word over there we’ll fix the b-word it when we are there”. Big reason as to the mass exodus that started right around the same time. I’m pretty sure any accusations that may have been made were not false and I suspect most everyone that has worked for JB has all the proof for any of said accusations. As for the Flight attendant / pilot drama that is just normal operations, communication conflict resolution shit that we all know happens in nearly every company we work at. A lot of that crap was manifested by the group of washed up incompetent pilots that were pulled out of feedlots and industrial supply companies in the spring of 2018. These meatheads should never ride a tricycle let alone fly an airplane, guess that is just the nature of the pilot shortage though.

This was next level drama, not normal drama. Not to mention the DFO and FA manager would help light the fire. Nether which had UN experience. Not to mention the 2 hires from the FA manager caused huge problems. Just another funny story to laugh about. Good riddance

True enough, I’m sure they didn’t have UN Experience, not many people do. That doesn’t make them bad managers & I'm sure they were collaborative enough to listen any of the “know it alls” that may claim to be UN guru’s. Point still remains, there was very little a manger was able to do once the toxic twins took hold of the operation with their Avmax style of noose, tightening it every day until they cut off the circulation of anyone that was working there.

For my self this has been a entertaining story to follow. I do believe K.B tried just her background is accounting. She’s good at numbers and didn’t put into her equation the shortage of labour in Canada of AMES, pilots.

A.Y got his wish, now avmax has most of the regional 1 townies.

The amount of money backing this airline could have made a huge introduction to the UN contracts. Yet they chose to use the wrong people to do so.

Congrats to Avmax getting higher time guys, and for thoose who went back to voyageur you have a funny tale to tell the boys in Ontario!

But my heart goes out to all the employees that put in so much time and effort just to have a couple of hillbillies step on them every time they spoke up with safety and regulatory concerns.

If those two stupid nincompoops would have been able to see past the bridge of their own noses then maybe they would have been able to see the folks that stuck around would have done anything if it meant saving the AOC. Instead they chose to be little and undermined them.....tsk, tsk, tsk....when will JB learn to keep his family doing what they are good at....getting him lunch and filling pop machines.
