• Should this forum be titled ATS or ATC

I received a PM asking me to change the forum title to ATS instead of ATC. Any thoughts on this?

I like the ATS as there are lots of flight service on here that provide insight as well.

While I doubt the title of "ATC Forum" would have prevented any of us on the FSS side from posting in here, it's nice to be officially included!

I agree, this site is an aviation site so I would say anyone involed with avation should feel welcome to join. This forum should have been on here long ago! Thanks "awesome Joe"!

Good call on the ATS name. People tend to forget in the aviation world that FSS is part of the equation as well. Or as one of my pilot friends said "your not in the aviation industry your FSS". Which on a side note took a lot of will power not to bust his nose and drive his teeth down his throat. BUt anyways thanks for the forum good to see it on here.

May I suggest appointing a moderator, for this forum, who has experience in ATC/FSS ? Not that it has to be a requirement to be a moderator. It is just that experience in the ATS field would balance the moderating.

It would be nice if this forum could promote intelligent discussion avoiding slanging matches that would require the intervention of a moderator. We are professionals after all.
