picking up extra flying work on a different company during off days

Post by windcrusher »

Hey Everyone,

I have just started interview process as a flight instructor. I am curious about this and Just wanted you to ask pilots of encore and westjet.
If I somehow get in to the company and I start working I am hoping to keep my instructor job. also where I work we have some king air type aircraft that I could fly as well.

Once I get my type I may fly them also.

Soo does this work with Encore? or is there a policy to stop that from happening.

Thank you for responses

You can do extra flying outside Encore with the following conditions:

1- Company needs to be advised and give youpermissions
2- It can't be for a direct competition
3- It can't interfere with your Encore flying or monthly flying limits.

That's true too! Plus, don't get me wrong, I love my job, but on my days off the last thing I want to do is do more flying.
