AULA Advanced ultralight flight instructor rating

Post by marakii » Wed Aug 14, 2019 7:38 am

Hello,
If you have an expired class 4 flight instructor rating and want to switch to teaching/being an advanced ultralight flight instructor do you still do a flight test?

I’ve sent the ultralight associations the message but still waiting for a response. If anyone has done this transition please share if you want.
Thanks

Ok , TC told me with an expired class 4 I would need to put 20 hours on ultralights and then they will give me the ultralight instructor rating.
My question is does it matter where I put the ultralight time whether it’s here in Canada or down in the US. My friend has an advanced ultralight down south and I can have access to it.
If anyone knows this and share great, I’ll try TC too!
Thanks
