I figured PAL airlines would have jumped at this opportunity when AC announced their intentions. Considering they already have Dash’s and access to more through EIC and already fly scheduled routes on several of routes AC has dropped throughout Quebec and the East. (Ex. Mont Joli, 7 Islands, Wabush...)
Maybe there’s a reason they didn’t jump on it, or perhaps it was in the works...

Unless they already have a 705 AOC/in the works it won't happen anytime soon. It's a 6 month process at the best of times and TC inspectors are still working from home and haven't been on site since COVID started. The CFPA and PSAC will make sure it takes awhile for that to happen.

Maybe it is them... there are always backroom shenanigans going on, moving paper around, so the columns never add up to a profit. But I am only guessing.
