I am looking to purchase an external GPS for my iPad, and I am debating between Sentry ADS-B and Bad Elf Pro+.
I know both of them are equipped with a WAAS GPS. But is it true the Bad Elf Pro+ has a higher-end WAAS GPS than the Sentry?
If yes, does it translate to better signal capture at high altitude, high speed, and under thicker airframe?

Re: WAAS GPS question
I'm not sure about the sentry, but I think the selling point of the badelf pro+ is that it also receives GLONASS (Russian GPS), which can make getting a fix faster and easier in certain areas. Your best bet for aviation is likely to buy (or build) a Stratux, which when equipped, can feed attitude and ADS-B In data to foreflight, in addition to GPS signal.
