ProLine21 training aid?

Post by CJdriver »

Howdy brethren,

Can anyone advise on a decent Collins ProLine 21 training aid available? Online, subscription or otherwise? Ideally for the CJ1 application.

I'm about to wade thru the Googles however a recommend is always appreciated.

Cheers and thanks

Maybe not what you're looking for, but when I went to FlightSafety, all the computers at your desk had a proline simulator on it, plus a very good portion of the training books they provide cover the Pro Line 21. When I flew an aircraft that had the Pro Line Fusion, I watched a youtube video which went into the functions in great detail. I'm sure there's a similar video for the Pro Line 21.

To my knowledge there are no training aids besides the proprietary SIT trainers at the respective CAE or FSI facilities. I know Garmin has some PC trainers, not sure of the cost.

I haven't looked into it, but FS2020 looks advanced enough to have a pretty decent representation of a PL21 cockpit on one of the mods.

Best I can do for you beyond that is give ya my old FSI manuals and any tricks for the jets I've flown with PL21.

CJ1 is slow enough you'll have plenty of time en-route to learn the system before you get to your destination, lol.

Let me know.
