Plenty of schools will be hiring this upcoming season, or any time of year for that matter. Provided that the applicant has a good attitude.

The way I see it...You have to be willing to travel anywhere. If you're looking for a place to start..?

Have a look at some of the bigger flying schools across the country. I'm sure we can all name a few.

A lot of times, the flight school where you do your rating will hire you after. That's something that you should consider when you look for a place to do your rating...that's assuming you haven't done it yet.

For example, the place I'm doing my rating will upgrade you to a Class 3, and then it's your choice to stay or not.

Now with the hiring thing happening again there will probably be some Instructor hiring over the next couple of months before the busy season starts again.

Don't some schools hire tons of instructors..because it really doesn't matter to them because instructors don't have bas pay..so they can hire as much as they like?

Try Brampton....they may be looking for some instructors come the spring. They've had a few instructors move on to bigger and better things recently.

If you are doing a intructor rating make sure you pick your school well, make sure they fly lots and its a healthy enviroment before you begin. If you walk in and and there are 10 instructors on the booking sheets, but only 3 planes in the fleet your alarm bells should ring.

Treat the instructor rating as a job interview, thats what it basically is. Show up on time, don't be hung over, help out where you can, and be keen. Not to many CFI;s will promise you a job, but schools usually only train instructors as the need arises. With the amount of movement expected this spring I am sure instructors will be moving up and positions will open for class 4's.

Good Luck!
