Interviews

Post by Snow Monkey »

Hey,

Well after 3 years of trying the call has finally come for the INTERVIEW! GULP. Any words of advice or tips, I understand it is a behavioral interview but what are they asking as far as the tech side. Any tips would be greatly welcomed.

Cheers

Hey Snow Monkey,

Congrats on the interview. There are no technical questions during the interview, it's all behavioral.

Get a hold of your sponsors and they'll be able to tell you what to expect.

Good Luck

Make sure that you tell your external recomends that it's a behavioral interview for them too, so that when they get the call, and Diane starts out with "Tell me about a time..."; they don't respond with "Huh?". Kinda brings down the whole tone of the interview.

Well the snow monkey did his interview. Thought he did OK. Different from any other interview ever. As a result the snow monkey has a course date for the 700. Thanks for all your input folks.

Cheers

A good general overview of what the process is. Answer with the STAR format.

I'd like to thank Pika for that link to Behavioral Interviews. I checked it out and found it extremely informative. I think every pilot, who is preparing for an interview, should use that. I printed out a few pages to keep for future reference. I don't quite have enough time for WesJet as of yet, but they are certainly on my list.

Cheers
