New Livery and 1st Max
Great shot by Jake Welty @avgeekjake of our first Max at KBFI in the new livery. The first revenue flight is planned for June 10th with 7 more coming in rapid succession.

Ok well the max at least looks better than the NG’s with the black dot. This isn’t bad
Re: New Livery and 1st Max
Congrats on the new plane, but the green just does not work for me.

Sorry, that's still awful. Looks like a hipster graphic designer puked on an airplane.
Great photography, though. Props there.

I will dance the sky on laughter-silvered wings.
Re: New Livery and 1st Max
What does a hipster graphic designer's puke look like compared to any other person puke? I seriously cringe when I hear people make these types of 'jokes' or comments. Worst attempt at an insult ever!RedAndWhiteBaron wrote: ↑Mon May 24, 2021 5:29 pm Sorry, that's still awful. Looks like a hipster graphic designer puked on an airplane.

Anyways, congrats Flair folk! I think it looks frickin sharp! Where's the first flight from and to?

That purple stripe is the grape on the vanilla/licorice/type 4 cake.
Re: New Livery and 1st Max
I liked the older paint scheme better but that’s just my opinion.
Let’s Go Brandon

I think it's fun looking for sure.
Whether you love or hate this and past livery, they have people talking. As PT Barnum said "There's no such thing as bad publicity"
The general consumer will probably not make a ticket booking based on what the aircraft looks like, but if paint scheme sticks in their mind, they may be more inclined to remember the name of the airline and compare prices.

The green always tricks me into thinking it's dripping in de-icing fluid.
Will fix airplanes for food.

Re: New Livery and 1st Max
They will compare prices. They could care less what it looks like. The only time they might note the name is if they had a bad experience on airline X and then they might not book with airline X, but they will certainly check the price. Business travel is a different beast. What I have observed is that the general public notices if it is a "jet or a prop job" and I'm quoting someone I was standing behind on a DH or JS flight a while back. For our average budget conscious traveller, the only discriminator is price.
As for the Flair paint, the latest latest is an improvement on the previous underwing type IV green. I agree with Inverted2. I liked the second oldest one - the one right after the two tone brown.
As for the black spot.... has marketing at Flair never read Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson?https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Spo ... re_Island)
I see it's now a green spot which is much better

Check again after those beer goggles wear off...
Re: New Livery and 1st Max
I'm not crazy about the "flashy green", but this livery is miles ahead of that "esthetical abomination" they called a livery. I like it (for a low cost carrier)
