7 dead.
I think I'll pass on offering any opinions, too. Lesson in that.

So you are just happy to report 7 souls are lost without offering any sort of takeaways that can potentially prevent further loss of life in the future??!! Shame.

In the highly unlikely event I had hard information on this crash or any other, I wouldn't be trying to feed my ego or garner attention by posting it here.
I'd forward it to the appropriate authority.

Sure it is NTSB’s job. Meaning that they get paid to come up with something in 18 months.rookiepilot wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 6:44 pmThat's the NTSB's job.challenger_nami wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 6:43 pmrookiepilot wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 6:37 pm https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XbFHQDzEOd8

However, if you had a little bit of analytical ability, you too could have put the clues together and paint a picture. It would not be your “job” meaning you would not get paid for it. However, if you cared about making Aviation safer, it sure would be your responsibility to try to help others not get into the situation that caused the crash and loss of life and property.
But I get it, not everyone has the aptitude and integrity for the above.

Re: Cessna 501 crash, Nashville area.
This looks spooky. They had speed, some altitude, were turning as instructed.
Only abnormal events were some kind of alarm when the second pilot comes on the radio and a lack of communication after that point.
Was that the sound of a master caution or master warning? Didn't sound like a fire bell.
Maybe some smoke in the cockpit leading to desorientation? Then again by that point the autopilot would likely have been on.
The speeds displayed don't seem to point to a stall or spiral dive scenario either. Very weird.

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

That's precisely what every reporter who comes on here is trying to do, and we chase them all off like squirrels digging in the wrong garden.challenger_nami wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 6:53 pm However, if you had a little bit of analytical ability, you too could have put the clues together and paint a picture. Maybe get your PPL first before chasing squirrels and reporters. Leave chasing to the big boys ... and by big boys I don’t mean PPL holdersRedAndWhiteBaron wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 9:01 pmThat's precisely what every reporter who comes on here is trying to do, and we chase them all off like squirrels digging in the wrong garden.challenger_nami wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 6:53 pm However, if you had a little bit of analytical ability, you too could have put the clues together and paint a picture. Nice try. But kudos, sir, for sullying the memory of the dead by insulting me personally.challenger_nami wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 9:06 pm Maybe get your PPL first before chasing squirrels and reporters. Leave chasing to the big boys ... and by big boys I don’t mean PPL holders![]()

Believe me buddy, that was not an insult. There is no shame on being a pre-PPL.RedAndWhiteBaron wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 9:12 pmNice try. At your stage, you probably are a better pilot than @rookiepilot ... and I mean it

Maybe true, maybe not. But I'd bet I can fly a glider better than either of you, and damn, I've got some good stick and rudder skills still.challenger_nami wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 9:16 pm Believe me buddy, that was not an insult. There is no shame on being a pre-PPL.

You aren’t promoting aviation safety, you are a ghoul who once started a thread that asked people to vote on several of your hypotheses in regards to a fatal crash.
-That thread got yanked (with good reason) by the moderators.
In another thread that you authored, you made disparaging comments that the pilot was “over weight and out of C of G limits”. -Where is your proof? I’m still waiting for you to back that comment up.
Yet you have the nerve to actually believe that the above is “ok” under the guise of somehow educating us?
People such as yourself make me sick. I sincerely hope that you get your ass sued for libel.

What are your qualifications and expertise in this area? Why do you think you "have what it takes?"

Thread locked. This is going nowhere in a hurry.
Nami, TPC : Easy with the disparaging comments about others - we're all on the same team here.
