Sounds par for course in this greasy industry

Please, show me where Nav Canada’s profits are. Last I checked the airlines received 10’s of millions of dollars in service fees from Nav Canada before the pandemic.

Non profit doesn’t mean nobody is profiting, just because Nav Canada doesn’t turn a profit doesn’t mean the executives aren’t turn a handsome profit

Yet again people don't understand that contracts aren't void just because there's a downturn in the industry. Conditions for receiving bonuses were likely included in their employment contracts at time of hiring, and long before the pandemic started.

The salary of our former CEO wasn't as high as you'd expect for the CEO of a company of Nav Canada's size. 7 million in bonuses for all the managers in Canada is peanuts. sorry but this is a non-story. It was in their contract.

Even while Nav Canada doesn't make a profit, it doesn't mean its executives aren't raking in the dough. Our previous CEO was not paid as much as one might expect a CEO of a corporation the size of Nav Canada to be paid.

Yes, that's correct. Plus a raise on each anniversary of the date you checkout, so 2 raises per year.

Execs are also paid a significant portion of their compensation as bonuses. As for base salary, it's typically very low relative to their bonuses.

NavCanada and all the other COMMUNIST Corporations need to pay back-pay, and damages to all the Employee's that were either FIRED or forced to RETIRE rather than take an EXPERIMENTAL DNA INJECTION........It is being proven over and over again the terrible risk to health the VAXX was and STILL IS.....it was completely criminal and against our Charter of Rights and Freedoms........AND YET......NOTHING HAS HAPPENED and the F-ing "UNION" I paid for over 30 years could give a SH#T about any of us that actually stood up against the BS. One day......all the Corporations that went along with destroying peoples lives and freedom of choice (MY BODY MY CHOICE.....AS IF)will pay. NavCan can rot in He(( for all I care.

Any others with similar stories?

Sure do. I didn’t buy into any of the right wing fear mongering. I kept my job.

Good for you to stay true to your convictions but sometimes cutting your nose to spite your own face has consequences.

I can’t say I feel much empathy for you. You made your bed and now have lie in it. Bitching on Avcanada to grieve your own misguided decision afterwards although unfortunate is laughable at best.

I hear the trucking industry loves your values. Good news is that you’ll meet likeminded individuals and make far more money there…

No, enjoy your new profession. Also, no controllers were fired, so you made your choice. Freedom right?
