In YYZ most of the D8 pilots are bidding the E75 since the bid only shows 17 Q4 CA spots. Word is a lot of senior RJ pilots are bidding the E75 too.
Frozen pilots are …… frozen. Most pilots affected by type freeze are FO. D8 pilots are all free agents due reduction rights.

I would expect once bid results are published that top 30-35 EMB CA in YYZ will be new on type and top 20-25 EMB CA in YUL will be new on type as well.

YUL top 17 new on type. YYZ top 29 new on type.

I’d like to add my congratulations to the Jazz pilot group for your individual bid awards, but most of all for your success thus far in navigating the severe turbulence created by the global pandemic. Very tough times for sure!

Once again in trying circumstances the Jazz group is the industry leader in showing the way to integrating seniority lists as smoothly and as equitably as possible while securing as many quality pilot jobs as possible.
A job well done!

The turbulence is obviously not yet over but the majority of the storm avoidance for the path ahead is in the hands of science, governments, the regulators and management.

All the best of luck!!
I miss you all,
Ron Exell

Anybody have some insight on training dates being published. Memo said it will be delayed. No other information was given. Radio silence from MEC and company...

6 figures to work from home and say "sorry it's late" and leave it at that after saying "the first at the latest"...

and yes I know they probably aren't working from home anymore...

I've been following from the sidelines obviously. Seems that ALPA was good at the updates through email... what's changed? Unless it's such a short delay they won't bother to craft an email.

The only immediate consequence of the final award delay is a further delay in commencing the 2022 vacation bid. Not a huge problem since the first vacation interval of 2022 does not commence until January 31 (part of the February schedule month). Therefore, second round of vacation bid must be completed no later than Dec 31 in order to have awarded vacation assigned for February known and included in February 2022 bid packages. If the vacation bid commences by October 15, it should be finished by around Dec 15 or sooner.

Calls have already gone out for upgrade training that will commence in November.

I would expect to see final Equipment Award and Training/Effective Dates within the next 1-3 days. There were numerous errors in the original award. Vacation rosters and bidding schedule out same day or within 24 hours thereafter.
