Try getting a job flying international without a radio licence . “Talking about what you heard on the radio “ is not allowed . When you make your application for a radio licence it clearly states on the application that you sign . Makes it really easy to revoke the licence .

Wow your radio licence fear-mongering is pretty funny.

Scuttlebutt is that this involved an incapacitated pilot.

I heard animal noises on 121.5.

Am I at risk of licence loss?

2R is being helpful by reminding us of something I know I forgot about long ago.

I’m guessing the rule is meant to prevent particularly sensitive things from being quoted and shared to the general public. If not, almost everyone here is at risk for complaining about “Any conflicting traffic please advise.”

Fortunately my other radio licences have my language proficiency listed on them . The joys of being ramped checked in a foreign country awaits you .ICAO language proficiency is another piece of political kryptonite that has been avoided to date .

Since the t and the 6 are adjacent on the keyboard I'd assume OP fat fingered typing it.

I was assuming that it was a case of “guest sick” not coming out clearly with “sick” sounding like “six”.
