Day trip ideas out of CYOO

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any recommendations as far as a day trip is concerned out of CYOO (Oshawa)? I'm looking for...

- interesting/unique views along the way
- restaurant or place to eat nearby the destination airport
- within 250NM or so radius (maximum) out of CYOO
- cheap fuel / no landing / FBO fees would be a bonus

Right now, I'm considering Pelee to the west, Killarney to the north, or Montreal via CYHU to the east. Anything else that I should be considering?

Gatineau, Quebec, (YND). Houses The Vintage Wings of Canada. No landing fees for private single-engine aircraft. Restaurant, "L'Aileron", is located in the terminal building on the main floor. They make a very good chicken sandwich and the French-Canadian pea soup is fantastic and they make a superb mushroom omelette, and pancakes. Highly recommended. Museum of Civilisation in Hull, one (1) mile west. Near Ottawa/Rockcliffe airport, YRO, home of Canada's National Aviation Museum.

For that matter you can fly into Rockliffe and park right outside the display hangars. Or at least you *could*...

Muskoka was nice Havent been there in years now

I use to fly from CYOO with Bill Davidson. Now its been over a year I dont know why just not in mood
