CRJ200 to YXC
I see the CRJ is making an appearance at YXC. I believe this is first time a regional operator has run a jet to Cranbrook.
Does anyone know if this is temporary?

Re: CRJ200 to YXC
Back in the day, late 90s Canadian Regional was running F28s into YXC. I would imagine the CRJ is temporary, then again I've been wrong before.

Also, AirBC - Bae146
This airport has been well served over the years by jet powered aircraft. Taking the CRJ-200 is not going to prove very effective into YXC due to load and performance restrictions.

I get a chuckle when the Millennial crowd see something for the "first time" and think its never happened before.

I get a chuckle every time a boomer seizes the opportunity to shit on Millennials. Apparently we're living rent free in their heads 24/7. At least thats somewhere we can afford it.Loon-A-Tic wrote: ↑Fri Sep 03, 2021 12:46 pm I get a chuckle when the Millennial crowd see something for the "first time" and think its never happened before.

You do realize that most of us referred to as "boomers" wear it as a badge of honor and take it with respect and reverence.YC87DRVR wrote: ↑Fri Sep 03, 2021 3:45 pmLol well said! OK Boomer!
Re: CRJ200 to YXC
You know, the “B scale” would have fixed itself if said millennials simply didn’t apply, but you know, why accept responsibility for your own actions! It’s everyone else’s fault!YC87DRVR wrote: ↑Fri Sep 03, 2021 3:45 pmLol well said! Classic boomer thinking they’re the best, your date of birth doesn’t earn you respect or reverence.Loon-A-Tic wrote: ↑Fri Sep 03, 2021 5:11 pmYou do realize that most of us referred to as "boomers" wear it as a badge of honor and take it with respect and reverence.YC87DRVR wrote: ↑Fri Sep 03, 2021 3:45 pmLol well said! Isn't free rent what most millemials feel they deserve, at someone else's expense. Obviously not familiar with the depression. Funny how those that were our grandparents from those days died with a nice tidy net worth.Tbayer2021 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 03, 2021 1:44 pmI get a chuckle every time a boomer seizes the opportunity to shit on Millennials. Notice how the keyword here is "afford". No one is asking for free anything. The problem comes with wages not having kept up with cost of living, not even close. Do you honestly think it is perfectly fine that it takes being a Captain, making 200K+ a year to afford a starter home in the GTA? If so, then I guess I have nothing to discuss with you.hamstandard wrote: ↑Sun Jan 09, 2022 8:44 amIsn't free rent what most millemials feel they deserve, at someone else's expense. What exactly are you trying to say about grandparents? That everyone who has grandparents that lived and worked in Canada all died with a "tidy net worth"? While I'm sure thats the case for some, it is not for the vast majority. Your point also being that a younger person has to rely on generational wealth to live comfortably?
What exactly is your point about the depression? The implication being that not having experienced it means we have no challenges in our lives?
You're barking up the wrong tree here dude. I'm 31 and own multiple rental real-estate. But that doesn't blind me to the realities of life for people and the just about insurmountable challenges mine and the younger generation faces. It's a simple Math problem, you need to earn a minimum amount to afford housing and anything else. Not sure how to have a debate with you if you cant't wrap your head around that.
