Transport Canada Type Stickers
Hello,
Anyone else delayed with receiving their stickers for new type ratings?
Who did you call to get any information from? Can you post a phone number/email?
I’ve tried calling the local number with no success. Always goes to voicemail.
Thanks!!

I don’t know of anyone who got through to them on the phone since the Chinese Virus started. I’m returning the favour by delaying payment of my medical processing fee. They seem to have no trouble sending out the bills.......
Let’s Go Brandon

Did you leave a voicemail? They usually do respond to those.Skysurfer1 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 4:51 am Hello,

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

For a while now TC has only really replied via their email sorting system so they don't have to directly deal with us unwashed masses. If you get someone on the phone its a trainee who knows nothing and isn't aware of their no phone call policy. The email I have had success with getting responses from is tc.sfoinbox-oasemail.tc@tc.gc.ca
No promises on that, they may have changed it. Its somewhere on their website.
Also, its not a sticker, but a Self-Adhesive Stamped Label similar to, yet not to be confused with, a sticker.

I'm not sure what's more depressing: That everyone has a price, or how low the price always is.
Re: Transport Canada Type Stickers
There is currently an exemption in effect until June 30th 2022 and the type rating sticker is not required provided you meet the requirements of the exemption. TC isn't sending them out and no one is getting a type sticker right now.Skysurfer1 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 4:51 am Hello,

They are pretty slow, but they come. Mine took two full years.

Yes. I'm waiting for my group 1 sticker. its been 2.5 months.
I suspect they're mostly home with a cold or tested positive.
you're not alone.

I’ll bet you most have been working from home for the past 21 months, including the mailroom clerks!wingman2002 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 1:03 pm Yes. I'm waiting for my group 1 sticker. its been 2.5 months.

Exam dates mean nothing in Calgary. I had to go to Kelowna to take the INRAT. The lady there is very accommodating and has stayed open.

Any sticker is a massive wait right now. My Class 2 was signed Sept 13. As of 2 weeks ago when I called it was finally on a licensing lady's desk. Here's hoping
