Pa 23 camera hole
Anybody out there know of the STC for a 19 and half or 20 inch Lidar hole for a E or F model Aztec?

I'm not sure what's more depressing: That everyone has a price, or how low the price always is.

Both the STC's which rigpiggy mentions are for Navajo, rather than Aztec. I've worked with several very well done camera ports in Navajo's. A quick search of the FAA STC list does not turn up an Aztec camera port at all. But certainly, if you can find an STC which is appropriate, cost effective and supported, that's a good way to go. What I have found is that there are STC's which have been done (both Canada and US), which are no longer supported. So although it's there, you can't buy another. Most of the Cessnas had camera port kits in the parts catalog, and you'll sometimes find a plane with a factory camera port. But, when I asked Cessna about buying the parts kit for the 207, the response was a very courteous, and quiet laugh. I made my own. The C 207 is very much easier that the 206.
I've done serialized STC approval for camera ports in C-172, C-182, C-207, Apache, and Seneca. Note that with the Apache/Aztec, the hole size will be limited by the space between the steel tubes. The engineering and work to cut steel tube structure in the Pa-23's would not be worth the cost.
The C-207 I did in 2005:

Re: Pa 23 camera hole
Nobody asked me, but we get the Aztec port STC done by Sealand Air in CYBL. They do a good job.
