Re: Ground school
To my knowledge, all ground schools prior to May are full. Interviews (online "in-person") are ongoing for ground schools in May and beyond, and reference & background checks are being emailed as we speak. I imagine that could be a 2-3 week process before potential candidates get the job offer with ground school dates. Hope that helps.

Re: Ground school
That's the last I got as well. Any idea if more are being planned and potential calls going out soon?
And anyone with background checks completed?

Re: Ground school
There are certainly some higher time guys in current classes, but that's just because the music stopped with hiring everywhere during covid. No one with any significant experience is going to stay/apply at Encore when it's 10 years to flow (unless they make it a career gig like Jazz, which they won't). Do not be deterred because of the higher time guys getting hired now, those experience levels are going to drop very quickly.goingmissed wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 6:38 pmHow many hours do you have? They hired several students of mine back in 2019/20 and interviewed a few others but I never even saw a questionnaire.
Def challenging being an OTS modular student -> instructor in this industry and wanting to "skip" the North and go direct to airlines.
However, it can be done...
GL to everyone securing positions at Encore.

Got the PFO last week.
For reference, I'm at 1400 hours, As written, currently typed and working on the Metro 3/23.
Good luck to everyone else!

I have a good idea, yes. But their response is always the generic “we don’t provide feedback but you can re-apply again in 6 months.” Time to move on.qwe221sd wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2022 2:35 amDo you have any idea why you failed? Can you share? I think there're plenty of candidate in the pool at the moment.MrAviator19 wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2022 12:34 pmI have a good idea, yes. Re: Ground school
In my opinion, you shouldn't expect someone to share details as to why they didn't get a particular job. If they wanted to share the details, they would have in their reply the first time you asked. Don't go asking for more a second time. It happens to everyone at some point in their careers... Not getting an offer you hoped to get isn't fun, and not everyone is going to be open to discussing details especially when they themselves may not be 100% sure why.qwe221sd wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2022 4:58 pmCan you share? Sorry, I rather not. But I wish all other candidates the best! This wasn’t meant for me, so be it.qwe221sd wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2022 4:58 pmCan you share?
