What's the latest on CJ? I've driven by YYZ 3 times last week and have seen their only 320 parked midfield and on North apron.

It's an airline with a single aircraft that spends more time parked in YYZ than it does flying. Great business model... cut the largest cost (fuel) by not using it.

Re: Canada Jetlines
Their shares on the NEO exchange are at an all time low of $0.26, with a high of $0.72 early on in their public trades. If I recall correctly they projected 15 aircraft by the end of 2023…. They’ve leveraged a few million publicly and I’m not sure where the rest of the money is coming from. As an avid investor there’s a few red flags right out of the gate.goingmissed wrote: ↑Thu Oct 13, 2022 1:12 pmIt's an airline with a single aircraft that spends more time parked in YYZ than it does flying. Re: Canada Jetlines
150K offering, that’s chump change and a 1M loan doesn’t go very far in aircraft acquisition so I can’t see this airline going anywhere soon.
Re: Canada Jetlines
The 150K is most likely just for the aircraft parking fees at YYZ. Thing never moves.

Re: Canada Jetlines
They’re a far cry from having 15 aircraft operating by the end of ‘23
Re: Canada Jetlines
One Airbus 320 doing two trips per week YYZ-YYC. They want another airplane to do two trips per week YYZ-YVR?
That has got to be the lowest utilization Airbus 320 in the world!

CEO Mrs. Brigitte Goersch
Where have I seen that name before?
This industry is incestuous.

Seems she's chair of the board. Even stranger is that Jean Charest is on their board? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Looks like they're hiring. If nothing else, it seems they have the work/life balance thing sorted out.

And then some. It’s disturbing how small a group of people run this industry

Re: Canada Jetlines
As far as Canadian Aviation goes, they by FAR have the best work life balance. I mean who wouldn't want 5 days a week off, work two and be home at night. Might not be able to feed your kids, but at least you'll be with them each night.Apestogetherstrong wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 3:41 pm What is the FO and Cpt salary. What are the schedules like?
