New pay rates for EVAS?
Some how they are still around, like a roach after nuclear Armageddon.
Here is their freshly negotiated memorandum. I feel dirty just reading it.

16 years to not break 100k!?!?!
I could have sworn I just saw a Missinippi ad offering 100k-130k.
Please people, either don't apply or quit, you're worth more than that.

What's minimum wage at home base? Do FOs even make what a full time min wage McDonald's chef makes?
Two years of posts that aged like a fine cheddar.

Here is an ad for a server, at the restaurant at Gander Airport. Pays more than F/O at EVAS before TIPS!. This restaurant use to be owned by P and F White who own EVAS. Seems they sold it after the got sued by the Town of Gander over backed up property taxes.

The auto worker union strikes again !
What’s the point of paying union dues if that’s the kind of representation that you get out of it.

In twenty years time when your kids ask how you got into flying you want to be able to say "work and determination" not "I just kept taking money from your grandparents for type ratings until someone was stupid enough to give me a job"

Re: New pay rates for EVAS?
I'm honestly shocked that EVAS still exists - that said, this is an absolutely abysmal and embarrassing contract.
I guess if no one's foolish or desperate enough to take the job at 35k/year, they will just go to the government and tell them there are no qualified Canadian candidates for the position, and they'll be back to hiring Mexican/Indian/South African TFWs.

It IS right in their name... "Exploits" Valley Air Services... How did anyone not see this coming? lol
Jokes aside, it is time we got a great resignation on the pilot side of things!
EDIT: Also, I clicked into this thread hoping to read a good news story about how EVAS is heralding a new step in the right direction. All it turned out to be a steaming pile of $#!T

Re: New pay rates for EVAS?
Lol. At least there is a 2% increase next year to compensate for 8% inflation
As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

I remember they had tons of East Indian TFWs before the AC CPA got shutdown.

I bet they will still have more applicants than positions.

Good to see that there are still at least two constants in the aviation universe.... The White's and their delusions of what acceptable pay is and UNIFOR's seemingly drunken stuper approach to advocating for their members.
