Great question. I’d be interested to know if you find out. I might even throw in an application.

The number and frequency of job adds posted is inversely proportional to how good the job is.
Im looking at you, Air Sprint, Pasco, CMA, North Wright, Rise Air, EVAS, Carson Air, Wasaya, Chartright, Pivot, Perimeter, Alkan, Air Partners, etc.

How much would anyone have to pay you to live in LaRonge, or Stony Rapids this winter?

I don't even know if that would do it for me. But if I was 20 years younger, and job hunting and looking for my first big break, I'd be taking my well worn work gloves, and DH hat with the corners curled down hard and snow goose parka, carhartt covies with foam knee pads stuffed into the knee pockets and well used (or dragged behind the car for a few miles), and camping out on Tranwest's lawn bugging the F out of them to put me on the ramp. Now is the time that that chill is in the air and nobody with a choice wants to be there for another winter.

How much did your training cost? And how long would you have to work to pay it off? This is the mentality of the old guard: You are so privileged to have the chance to clean garbage and take the cp’s abuse to make enough to maybe pay off your license in 10 years.co-joe wrote: ↑Sun Sep 11, 2022 9:19 pm I don't even know if that would do it for me. There are many options that a new pilot can choose from, including instructing, or possible direct pilot hire to somewhere not up north or up north with direct pilot hire.
I did the ramp and if I could do it again I would have gone to Seneca/mt Royal and gone direct to jazz, or done instructing.

They are looking to hire a number of pilots before the new year.
