Missing: YUL LEC
So looks like I lost all representation at my base here in the Belle province?
I guess being a company echo chamber wasn't an effective union strategy
About time we saw some change here. Hopefully some good people step up and push this ship to a better place. Pretty strong solidarity among the group. Hopefully Montreal jumps on board

Re: Missing: YUL LEC
They don't believe in selling us permanent concessions?
Re: Missing: YUL LEC
Fear tactics, the modus operandi of the YUL union group. ‘If we don’t give the company this…they’ll just acquire Transat’
And the Facebook, has created quite an echo camber for the base.

So who is going to run the YUL Facebook group to pass on the company propoganda?

Only P4C does. I have less money in my bank account thanks to them.
Better than that, they will lead you to an early career ending. Think of those who have been fired.
Short term Donkey Kong logic.
Re: Missing: YUL LEC
Bullshit. Short term thinking. 1 or 2 year substandard improvement vs. other concessions prevented.
"Them" - that 80% of this airline that is sick of losing, that won't take sub-standard deals, that believes you are worth more even if you don't.
Wake up. We are so fukking far behind and there are guys pushing for better. Just taking the scraps we get doesn't cut it anymore. Get with the program.

Wow that is short term thinking. It’s kinda like thinking cargo is a 90% raise and not a 10% pay cut.alkaseltzer wrote: ↑Mon Oct 17, 2022 12:06 amOnly P4C does. I have less money in my bank account thanks to them.
Maybe you should step back from that logic for a recalibration.
P4C did not have the MOA fail. Stop trying to blame the boogeyman for ACPA’s failures. It failed because 80% of your peers said it wasn’t good enough. Be careful here. Asserting that P4C put out opposition and tricked the membership is akin to suggesting the membership isn’t that intelligent. That was done after the YVR recall. Yikes flight decks got hot after that. That anger may very well have spilled into the MOA vote.
P4C are a group of YOUR peers that spans the seniority spectrum and ALL bases. Even starting to infect YUL.

4 years of flat pay sold as a win by the Old Boys Club after the loss of the DB pension replaced by a comical DC pension
It's great to see grassroots organizing and a group of peers use data to guide future decision making vice reactionary scare tactics
Incredible solidarity displayed by the pilot group with 80% rejecting a full on sales job and propoganda strategy to sell concessions
Well done everyone. The future is bright
