Are air ambulance operators operating under 703 exempt from the new duty time regulations?

Yes, and it make’s absolutely no sense. Apparently medevac pilots don’t get tired while working a rolling duty week :cry:

No there not exempt. But there are different rules for medevac ops. It is in the CAR's.

The rule for medevac is basically "do not fly fatigued"...
