The FO side is extremely disappointing. Any other important takeaways from the TA? This is still a TA, correct? Not an arbitrated decision or binding in any way and still needs to be voted on?

The FO pay is disappointing I agree. Will not solve the retention problem. Theres a bunch who were waiting to see the new contract before applying elsewhere. Rest of the details will follow.

Well, looks like the capts got a desperately needed 30% bump across the board.
FO side 4-8%. Starting is acceptable but IMO it should top out a little higher.
Top scale Capt makes more than equiv AC 737 skip. Senior FO a little less.

Could be worse, it's a low cost airline flying 738s. Hopefully the capt pay will wake up some other airlines.

Good start anyways until the retention/signing bonuses culminate industry-wide within a few years.

Pay is important but other details matter.

I don’t think Flair currently has any problem attracting FOs. The problem is keeping them long enough to go left seat and stay there instead of leaving for AC. The new Capt pay may give them reason to stay at Flair, depending on what the rest of the package looks like.

That table says the current MMG is 80. The proposed TA goes to 85

Current mmg is 80. This represents a 5 hrs/month increase to 85 and an extra day of work for many individuals depending on their position on the seniority list.

Hearing resoundingly no votes at this point.

Can't you guys vote this shit down or something? Like how can you increase the dbm rate upto 85hrs/month. Also what's with the 9% increase for first officers? Didn't some guy mention it was supposed to be 88k for first years? Wtf dude

Hold on.
80 to 85 hrs is an extra 6% of work. For a 4% pay raise on the FO side?

Am I interpreting this incorrectly, or do they actually want you to take a PAY CUT???

9 years for FO’s to break 100k and the same for skippers to break 200k. Ouch.

But did any of you actually think a ULCC in its infancy, with huge expansion plans was going to come throw a pile of cash at you and be the first Canadian carrier to lead the way with pay raises. You should be taken out back and shot if you honestly thought that was going to be the case.
