Captcha tests against spammers?

Hello,

I was wondering if there were some CAPTCHA ("completely automated public Turing test to tell computers and humans apart") tests done during the user registration process here on Avcanada... There's been a few spammers around in the last couple of weeks and I was wondering if that could be an useful countermeasure.
