767 Overshoot in Halifax

Hey guys anyone know why the Air Canada 767 overshot in Halifax yesterday? Wasen't sure if theres anyone from the area that was listening to a scanner at the time.

It's Halifax

In the spring

Good chance the wx was 0, 0. The wx can be nice in the city itself and require a white cane out near the airport

I'll just betcha that the pilot of said 767 never thought that anyone would be talking about that overshoot on a chat forum.

CNN has some experiense in reporting what should not be reported, mabey ask them what happened. Everyone lived, that should be enough.

maybe transport should have new minimums on a localizer approach called the runway.

winds were fairly strong favoring rw05(loc)wx was at or below loc mins
off and on all day.
