Can you people stop pming eachother this kind of info? It should be posted out in the open so everyone can see to decide or form an opinion. By keeping things secret, you're really only just helping the company and not helping your fellow pilots

18 months, $9k. Reduces monthly, nothing up front. 28 day blocks, 18 working days, 10 days off. 12 floating stat days to use whenever you want. Almost always have weekends off. Mix of Workforce Transportation, charter and Scheduled Service. Very few overnights. Left seat starts around $74k, right seat is around $41k. Union is negotiating, expect to see increases. Good benefits, RRSP matching, and MyID travel benefits. 1900 is YXE based and flys around 700hrs or so a year.

I don't understand why anyone would agree to a bond in this hiring environment.

Crazy, that's what I made there 13 years ago.

I could not agree more….. why are pilots still stepping on each other for stepping stone jobs with very low pay.

Divided we fall…. Anyone who signs a bond today is a scab, sorry to say it but it’s the truth.

By the very definition of 'scab', what you are saying is anything but the truth.

Instead of trying to be a dictionary or a thesaurus and splitting hairs, why don’t you say if you support bonds or not. These people cross the line of what should be pilot solidarity.

Deflecting, are we?

I hate bonds. And we should all make a million dollars a year. Doesn't mean it's feasible for everyone.

Calling people names, and in particular 'scab', only makes the word lose meaning for when you do need to use it to define possibly despicable behavior.

Nothing has ever been changed by using incorrect terminology in an attempt to slander people who do something you might disagree with.

Todays hiring environment? It's still garbage for low hour guys.

There's a pilot shortage of ATPLs with 3000 hours, not 250-750 hour guys who got screwed over the last couple years with covid.

Isn't this job ad geared towards experienced pilots?

I wouldn’t agree to money up front anymore. Like my first airline job at wasaya. I paid $9500 in advance for a caravan PPC. Paid biweekly back over a year. But yea if you shake a guys hand for an entry position, do the job. You signed a contract. Don’t be a dick.

Because the market is hot. It’s get your hours in and get a seat in the big leagues before the music stops. 12-18 months and you’re moving on so nobody minds the sacrifice. Most won’t even stay long enough to see their RRSPs vest.

Hi everyone,
Can anybody please provide updates about the bond/conditions for a PC12 F/O at Rise Air in 2024?
They seem to be hiring quite regularly for their base in La Ronge (on the BE20 this summer, now on the PC12).
I'm really curious to know more about it,
Thanks!
