I was wondering if anyone knew what salary you start out as dispatch at WestJet?.

A Dispatcher at WestJet has an in training rate of 38,900
and a start rate of 41,180

It is more like 40/hr A dispatcher starts at 18.70/hr
An FO has stock options, a dispatcher has none.

You need to double the monthly credit to get the actual time on Duty for a pilot. Also take in to account you can go home at night and not to a hotel. Comparing pilots to dispatchers is common, but apples to oranges in my opinion. However, no contest, WestJet dispatch is under appreciated and underpaid right now for how advanced of an operation it is.
