Which members of the current MEC were on the MEC with MM when they infamously gave themselves 82 hours a month during covid and back pay, while 600 of our pilots were on the street and everyone else was at 55 hours ?

Not only are these folks a DISGRACE. They legitimately think they did a good job. Talk about delusional. And now they are on the private forums working against their peers. Failure is really hard to accept. Especially when over 4000 of your peers conciser you and your work a failure.

These folks will stop at nothing to try to work against the pilots, work against ALPA, in order to try and justify their prior work, decisions, and behaviour. They will stop at nothing. It is expected because its a defence and coping mechanism.

But deep down they know they are an UTTER FAILURE and will have to live with that the rest of their lives.

So who on the MEC is still there now ? Who from P4C was on the MEC than and is still behind this amazing drive for unity ?

Do your homework and you will see who the shills really are!

Ha

This is nothing more than a smear a
campaign against some really great people.

That DSC memo was released at the beginning of Covid under the McKay regime which consisted of YUL, YVR, and YWG reps who were company shills. They sold out their own for the company. They were nothing more than company lapdogs who had enough votes to push through anything the company wanted

Hence Covid MOAs which involved pay cuts but no membership vote, ramming through a concessionary cargo deal with a 10% pay cut, Best Fit deal which should be called "Best Fit For the Company" that completely destroyed seniority and completely pooched a position of leverage thanks to the government stepping in to fix world worst reserve rules.

When McKay was essentially tossed, the new MEC Chair swung the votes to a one vote advantage of an otherwise split MEC. Basically half were pro pilot, the other half were pro company

Unfortunately, this divided MEC did not represent a now much more militant & engaged pilot group. This led to a MOA being recommended by this disconnected & dysfunctional group and the pilots responded in unity of a 80% "No" vote result

This led to the YVR base reps who had already ignored a 68% recall vote results to finally resign while all the reps from YUL resigned. This led to a massive change in representation and finally a union that began to look like a union

This resulted in a united MEC who is interested in building relationships outside of management and joining the world's largest pilot union that represents the highest paid pilots on the globe.

It's sad to see these campaigns of misinformation in the goal of causing chaos but we have now have strong leadership & strong ties to other airline groups. Working together is the way forward and will inevitably lead to better results

So CS gets a pass on all of this ?

And an acclaimed leadership that no one ran against and no one voted for ?

All of YYZ is acclaimed, that isn't the foundation of this unity and strong union that you think it is. Now you sound like the sales pitch.

It was right under your nose the entire time. Go back and start checking the VCC election results dating back to September 2021. You will notice that grass roots support for change candidates was the strongest in YYZ by a long shot. It was not until the last year that YVR caught up. All you need to do is look. I’m at a loss as to why so many ACPA supporters were surprised by the wave of discontent. They clearly were not paying attention.

As for the elections that produced acclimations. Change people were organized. They weren’t going to run against themselves. By the time last fall happened and the chaos of the failed MOA, everyone seemed to be just getting out of the way.

There will be another litmus test coming up this month.
