According to the add you only need 1000 hours to be a "Senior" Captain on Metro III. Almost 40 years in the industry and I have never seen pilot requirements on so low. Its a brave new world.....

Good thing the Metro is known for being extremely easy to fly with its great automation, overperformance in icing, a glass cockpit that makes AC 787’s skippers jealous and operating in Northern BC in winter requires no real IFR experience. Oh and it’s nose wheel steering landing on contaminated runways - chefs kiss. Truly a feat of engineering. Aviation’s best kept secret.
