I’ve heard from another that a pilot was hired at Jazz with 500 hours, has anyone else heard stories like this?

I remember when you couldn't get near Air Ontario without 4-5000 hours. They actually paid well back then though.

I was the low time guy hired at Air Nova in 1997 with 3700hrs and 1000hrs on the Dash-8.

Jazz has terrible pay so hour requirements are lower. Supply and demand. Nothing more.

Yes I know someone (non instructor) with only single engine 702/703 experience hired with 500 hours hired last month.
