Ah yeah I was there the day before lol, very similar situation.

Interviewed mid july, people who got called heard within 4-5 weeks from the interview. Several people I know waited 8-10 weeks and got PFO'd even with background and ref check.

I interviewed in May and got an offer 14 weeks later. From my understanding the courses have been mainly Jazz pilots with a few outside hires sprinkled in.

I think it doesn't mean anything. Sometimes you can have a negative MMPI due to inconsistency or invalid results. Not because you are crazy as shit.

They’ll send you to a psychiatrist who’ll chat with you for a while to make sure everything is ok. Happened to a guy I know. He was hired.

Cause Porter is draining Jazz dry at the moment. AC is between a rock and a hard place to conitnue to such their feeder dry or let their competition do it.

I think it doesn't mean anything. Sometimes you can have a negative MMPI due to inconsistency or invalid results. Not because you are crazy as shit.

That might be true after the first MMPI or the second. But that they let you have a shot at it again after you messed up the interview with the psychologist… come on. At some point you have to ask questions about the integrity of the candidate. Even if he might be “sane”. In all honesty I wouldn’t be comfortable sitting next to someone who failed his psych eval 3 times. There is a reason they’re doing it. If you just get as many tries as you like why even bother.

If your results are 2 MMPI inconsistent and failed the psych interview I agree. But when you are waiting for psych interview results (I think it's the case), that doesn't mean anything IMHO. MMPIs can be inconsistent due to invalid entries.

I imagine things are slowing down or being paused due to negots and looming strike action.

I interviewed July 21st. Background and reference checked within about 2 weeks. No letter yet. I did follow up a few weeks ago and was just told “ the expectation is to hear within 8-12 weeks”
