Float Flying Job in Manitoba

Sorry for posting this here, they wouldn't let me post in the Job posting section and I'm in a bit of a hurry.

Bolton Lake Lodge is looking for a new float pilot for a 185. Good aircraft, good pay and good guys to work with. Room and Board included. Outpost camps need changing over and my good pilot was just offered a Beaver job in Ontario so he's leaving.

I expect some hard work and good communication so we're not flying for nothing, and you'll get about 250 - 300 hours. Guys who work hard, can fly and get along with people do very well here. Others, (some who may post a reply to this) do not do well here and blame their employers. I will not respond to any slander, but if you want reliable references from great pilots who have come and gone, I will be happy to provide them for you.

Sorry again, should have mentioned we're in Northern Manitoba near God's Lake.

I'm in too much of a hurry and I did not mention the real kicker.

Our insurance will only allow us to hire high time pilots. You need 750 hours with at least 300 hours on floats. If you have less, I doubt we'll get you on.

There's also chance for advancement in the future on to out twins or if we ever get a Beaver like we were suppose to this year.

Hi my name is Ian White and I currently work at GFT Aerospace Technologies in Gander Newfoundland. I teach all the seaplane courses at the flight training division of the company. I just seen your job posting and thought I would give it a try, I currently have over 400 hr on floats, all done teaching float ratings at the school here, I have a multi rating and a current IFR. Total time is just over 600hrs.

If you are interested you can get me through the GFT website or my e-mail @ ianwhite 1980@hotmail.com.

Thank you.
