Quick Air in Buttonville

Any news on how the Quick Air/ Bar XH/ Airco sched out of Buttonville is going? Will they be hiring, or getting more aircraft? I have heard rumurs that they will but I am looking for confirmation.

Buttonville is not looking too good right now

, Kitchner. Ottawa & Montreal doing much better

. Who's to say other than the man himself. Bar XH is doing all the flying out there for them, their pay is horiable and is just slightly above the poverty level. The up side however is that the aircraft is good; the Jetstream is a great a/c to learn on. However doing sched service gives some really good time building and experience. But did I say that the pay really sucks? Wish something could really be done to prevent operators like these from paying such horiable rates, they need to wake up and realize what century their in.

Airco's 100's and Sunwest citation's are being used for the YXD - YYC runs because of the 10 passenger cap out of the idiots

downtown anti-business if you can call it an airport anymore. They went with the Jetstreams out east because they can fill them up to 18, the people out east are all too happy to have and do business. You can't help but wonder if thats why these westners out here have such an anti-east contemptment.

I hear Buttonville is being done by Airco's 100.
Kitchiner, Ottawa and Montreal is BXH's jetstreams.
As for YYC-YXD I hear the jet is history and BXH runs 3 BE20s and Airco is running a 100 on the YYC - YXD run.
Buttonville not doing so well all the others seem to be busy.

i don't know much about airco, but a trustworthy source told me that they've been putting up crews in markham, and as such are exploring the possibility of a base to save on the cost.

worth looking into!

I've just done some pretty deep digging and looked into the Buttonville base, everything is on hold (info from within) and doesn't look like anything will happen permanently there.....not going too well I guess. They are most likely going to relocate the 100 to YOW or YUL......
