Trying to decipher cars and my attorney is too expensive.
I have (had?) a night rating. It's been more than six months, less than 12 since I've done my required 5 t/o and landings to carry passengers.
Question: How long do I have that I can still solo those t/o landings to get current for passengers again?

I belive that you just need to complete your 5 t/o and landings to be current again, however if you feel you need to go up with an instructor for comfort reason that might be the best thing to do first.

Then Regular Currency requirement applies
In 5 years - acted as PIC
In 2 years - attending TC seminar, self paced study exams, fly with instructor, written exam, or flight test.
if you have done 5 take offs and landings at night in 6 months, that also covers day time requirement for carrying passengers

If this one expires -- you have to do flight review.

If either of these expire you just have to gout and do them. You can always do the t/o and ldg solo. There is never a time that they must be dual (at least not as far as the CARs are concerned, your insurance or the person renting you the aircraft may have their own restrictions).

If the 5 year currency expires, you need to do the PSTAR and the flight review
