Time building options

Post by EchoNovemberAlpha »

Hello
Had a look at the US for cheap time building options towards the COM...but somehow, don't quite believe the experience will be as rewarding as in Canada.... :) believe it'd make for some real Interesting (with a variety of terrain) and challenging (Wx wise.. ) Xctry's...
Any suggestions for cheap time building :?: ...not in a terrible haste to get it done with either  say 3 months and about 60-70 hrs at the most...
Also, am aware if flying in Canada for recreational/time building for under 6 months, one can get a temp permit (writing the PSTAR i guess?)...any ideas on how much time this takes (getting a foreign PPL validated) and what's required...?

Cheers...
ENA

PS. Would be great to hear from someone currently/planning something similar...would be a great way to see Canada coast to coast...i do believe it's a beautiful country too :)

...just read from the TC site about
1. Foreign Pilot Validation Certificate(FLVC);and
2. Limited term Private Pilot License (LTPL)

Now i understand the LTPL/MC thing alright; but there's not much info on the FLVC... :?
Just trying to understand the basic difference between the 2... :?:

Wonder if TC guy is till around... :D

Cheers...
