Challenger 300 salary.

Post by 2112 »

Hey guys, looking for 2024 salaries for Challenger 300 Captain at a 604 shop. 3 Captain op flying between 150-250 hours per year. Base salaries are fine, just looking to make sure I'm in the right neighborhood with my expectations. Thanks!

150k bottom of the barrel, 160-175k would probably be a realistic number to aim for. That being said, if you have experience and type rating, ask for more. Experienced pilots with type ratings and corporate experience aren't exactly growing on trees, know your value.

From my understanding, if you are in the experienced bunch, you should not have an issue negotiating 180-220k on a super mid (on a respectable OC) with 3 crew members in yyz. That is strictly base salary with all the fixings on the side

What other "fixings" are usually part of the package?

How much should a 2-crew situation change this 180-220k?

A lot of guaranteed and predictable time off... ...either by scheduled downtime (a month or more in advance) or hiring contract pilots.

Or by at least doubling that salary. Time is far too precious to be wasted on someone's whims.

Been flying one for almost 20 years. Started 150k - now 220+. 604 ops tend to pay a little higher than 703. We have 4 crew per a/c.
We have been looking for a replacement pilot for months now - two years ago we got 400 resumes - now, maybe 10 qualified. Ask for more but don't settle low. It's a pilots industry right now.
