Flight hrs
Anyone knows the avg annual hrs an FO flies on each of the E175/CRJ/Q400 once you are no longer on reserve?
Re: Flight hrs
Anywhere from 400-600. If you're YVR Q400 you could end up on the lower end if you do YCD/YYJ all day everyday.
Re: Flight hrs
A block holder for 12 consecutive months will average 600-800 flying hours. That is 50-65 hours per month and is based on the efficiency of the pairings (hard time vs synthetic credits). Obviously vacation, training, and sick time credits also reduce scheduled or accrued hard time.
Re: Flight hrs
I did about 750 last year. Not much overtime but we had a lot more longer flights that we have since lost. Now it’s mostly 1:00 to 1:30hr hops so I rarely fly more than 5 hrs a day. Horribly inefficient pairings at Jazz nowadays.
