I am thinking of going there this fall. I have 10K burning in my pockets. Anyone been there and done that?

I'm thinking of going to Russia this spring to play a bit of hockey and take in a few World Championship games. Maybe at the same time I could arrange a day to take that Foxbat blast myself.

Anyone who wants to donate to my flight will receive a fully framed and signed (by me) photo proving the earth is round. It'll be way cheaper for you and you'll still get a really cool picture. PM me for instructions on how to send me the cash.

A friend of a friend did the Mig 29 thing. Still talking about the flight and it's been years....but why blow all that cash on such a short flight. Why don’t you try reef/great white shark (cage) diving in South Africa. If your physically fit (besides walking from the couch to the fridge) why don’t you go along on one of the Mt. Kilimanjaro climbs; highest peak in Africa at over 19 000’ and one of the worlds seven greatest climbs……or go on a guided trek to the Mt. Everest base camp.

Cheers

That trecking stuff is for bored students! We see that all the time on TV. They soon will have wheel chair access.
I think that for a pilot, to get that kind of a ride is .....priceless...
Besides, if you buy the Ruski pilot some vodka, you probably will get one hell of a ride... :D
I am in, and will report on it as soon as it is done...

To which his own. Have fun with that....be sure to post pics and tell us all about the flight...and be sure to include any crazy Russian stories.

The extra's in Niagara might be nice, but flying a MIG or Sukhoi in Russia is a whole different league!

The Extras have long since departed St Catharines. Air Combat Canada is no more. Try Phoenix, AZ.

Even though the Extra has a tremendous roll rate, it doesn't have the speed, vertical and sustained G of the MiG.

Didn't one of the original C/UNIX inventor geniuses (Ken Thompson) do this years and years and years ago?
