Flight test report after PPC

Hello, does anyone know if a TC examiner is supposed to give the candidate a copy of the flight test report after a PPC? Thanks

it's not a bad idea to have one but it's not required for the ACP to give you a copy

ACP Manual 7.5 (3)

"ACPs may provide a copy of the Flight Test Report - Pilot Proficiency Check form (Form 26-0249
or 26-0279) to the candidate. They may also provide a copy (upon request) to other appropriate
parties such as the operator, training organization or chief pilot."

I never had anyone ask for a copy, but would have been happy to make one if they wanted/needed a copy.

Our airline generally emails a copy within a few days. But I’m sure you can request one. It is after all, part of YOUR TC file.

You can submit an Access to Information Request/Privacy Request to TC to obtain all your previous PPC reports. They respond in about 30 days.

I have always asked for one, both on my own rides, and on those done for other folks working for us. We kept copies in everybody's training records.

I used to just give the candidate a copy right after the ride but I was weird like that. I thought at one time they had to be given if there was a 2 or 1 assessed but I could be remembering wrong.

Only time it is required for the ACP to give a copy is in the instance of failures, if requested.

You do have a right to a copy of the report for everything else, however if you received a 2, comments are required. These comments take time, so do not expect it in short order.

I asked for one when I applied for my ATP as proof of the multi engine flight test. Otherwise, transport or the company will surely provide one to you.
