The God old faithful, Up north Does it, In fact 90% of the guys who have gone through the NWT in the past ten years have probly gone from ramp to FO, To Capt. Just depends on how much you are willing to put into your Career! The worst part is actually doing it. After your up there working for something It goes pretty good.

There is something that I don't understand, why can't the mods ban speriorwhore and bring back Springbok, at least he made some really interesting posts.

Superiorwhore's just frustrated that the bush pilots in YRL win all the ass at the bar.

Back on subject; check out Perimeter, Keewatin, SkyNorth, Keystone... there's more but you'll have to do the reseach!

Mr. North:

You mean superiorwhore is actually a commercial pilot working in the industry???

If so then it's no wonder pilots are having trouble with pay and working conditions because if that is indictive of the mentality that is out there flying the public around no wonder the industry is screwed up.

Here's a list of companies off the top of my head that put low-time pilots onto the ramp, then move them into an FO spot, assuming they've done a good job:

Northwest Territories:
- Air Tindi ( Yellowknife).
- Buffalo Airways (Yellowknife).
- Northwright (Norman Wells).

Alberta:
- Peace Air (Peace River).
- Airborne Energy Solutions (Whitecourt).
- Central Mountain Air (Calgary, I think).

Saskatchewan:
- Transwest Air (Uranium City, or Laronge).
- Courtesy Air (Buffalo Narrows).

Manitoba:
- Perimeter (Winnipeg and Thompson).
- Missinnippi Airways (The Pas and Thompson).
- Fast Air (Winnipeg).
- First Nations Transport (Gimli)

Ontario:
- Wasaya (Pickle Lake, Sioux Lookout).
- North American Charters (Thunderbay).
- Nakina Air Service (Nakina).

I'm sure there's a few others. Hopefully other people can add to this list.
