I'm from Ontario and am going to be working in Manitoba this season on a 6 month contract, does anyone have any tips or advice on obtaining health coverage while I'm out there?

Your covered anywhere in Canada. Just show your medi card for Ontario. They bill back to your home province. Never an issue. For me anyways working all over the country.
