Looks like Singapore sending out some juicy bonuses to everyone. Yet new FOs work two jobs in yyz to pay rent.

Here in Canada we're wondering if the restart of 767 passenger operations will be under under the new LOU or under old 767 rates. Both of which are woefully low for a 767.

In the article it says Emirates is also paying out 20 weeks bonus, and in 2023 Emirates paid out 24 weeks....

Looks like Canada has become what the US was 10-20 years ago, especially at the regionals... while dollar for dollar, we're not at the equivalent of 15-20k a year for an FO, with inflation, we're probably not far from it...guess someone has to take the reigns for lowest paid pilots in a first world country...

Why compare us to other countries. We have universal healthcare, robust public service, tampons in men's rooms. Many reasons why things are different but actually better here in Canada, and with that comes a small cost.
Would you really trade all this to live in a late stage MAGA America hell hole? Remember how many people died from covid in America when operation warp speed by trump failed everyone. Hands down I would rather be in Canada, collect CERB and save lives. It's a small price to pay.

Not mandatory usage yet, but just wait, they will fix that too. Give them time.

I always get crap for missing sarcasm, but this post is so off the wall sardonic that it has to be, just missing the rolling eyes emoji.
If not, coocoo for coco puffs comes to mind

Civil War is propaganda to try to get the Right to commit crimes, and to get the Left to mobilize and go vote for a senile president with a 8% approval rating. It is a complete waste of time to watch

We need more of these investments in Canada. This is what will make us great. I'm am glad to see this new announcement as it was a long wait since the Honda 5 million per job one this spring.
1.7 million for 10 jobs making pasta. Without this we would be stuck eating rice, from China.... We don't want that. I don't see America building a more robust pasta network. On a population basis they would need to consider making at least.... 80 pasta jobs and 13.6 million investment. Hell just fire off one less SM3 missile this year and they could make a pasta investment that would grow this economy nearly to our strength here to the North.
I will be voting for Jag, he is the only one I trust to invest in Canadians by socializing our taxes to corporations to rise everyone up out of poverty. More taxes, means more investment, and means less tent cities and prosperity for all.
PS boycott loblaws and shop at Walmart. We need to take down corruption and give our money to ethical corporations (ie Walmart, Honda and pastaland)

If you don't think the US (and every other country for that matter) gives subsidies to corporations and industries, I've got some bad news for you...
