Forgot to Notify Minister of Freelance

Hey folks,
Brand new to freelance instruction and I goofed up already. I had an email typed to TC months ago to notify the minister of flight training but apparently failed to send it. I only did a small portion of this students flight training while the majority (including flight test recommend) was done by a different instructor. The student just saw an AP to get their CPL signed off and that went well but it prompted me to recheck my records and I realized I didn't actually send the notification.
What's the move here? Send the email back dated? Call TC for advice? Send the email and explain the situation?
I'd like to avoid a holdup at the final sign off stage with TC but I also don't want to open a can of worms if it's not necessary.
Anyone end up in this situation before? If so, how did you get it sorted out?
