I’m a category 1 medical holder without any vision restrictions whatsoever and I have monocular vision ( vision in only one eye) mind you I’ve been monocular my entire 21 years of life. I’m currently studying my CPL and already completed the written exam . As a common trend amongst old forum posts of monocular vision, I’ve seen many people say “ I know someone restricted to 2 crew flying only “. I guess I’m pretty lucky to say the least since I don’t have any vision restrictions. Does anyone know any airline pilots in Canada with monocular vision? Ultimately that is my goal so I want to see what I’m heading into!
Thank you.

I know one. Flew KA then went to Jazz. Still there as far as I know, maybe went to AC. Great guy.

I knew an ATP helo pilot that lost an eye and got his license/medical all back.
This is about 20 years ago and transport made him jump through some hoops, but he got there.
