Can’t speak for YUL, but YHZ is all AC Express flying, BOS, EWR, YOW, and a little bit of NL flying. Mostly day pairings, odd 2 day, and a couple split/continous duties.

Junior pilots are mostly reserve, with a couple pairings. 12-14 days off a month.

I haven’t done an overnight since January. Pretty good gig if you like to sleep at home.

Thanks for the answer! Do the days off tend to be grouped together in blocks or spread out throughout the month?

Unrelated…. Well kind of.

The AC express planes/routes, they painted with the maple leaf yet?

Sounds like a great gig if you love sleeping in your own bed.

All the PAL Q's are in the standard PAL white livery. No plans for the AC Express paint as far as I know. It would be nice, but the airplanes rotate through YYT and YUL bases and do PAL sched flights and charters. I'd love to see just AC Express dedicated airplanes with new interiors.

As far as reserve sched goes. From what I can see they usually give out a multi-day block of reserve and then multiple days off. They can assign up to 6 day blocks of reserve. Open flying is posted as it comes up and is bid on.
