PAL and Air Canada CPA Agreement

Post by Bigdaddy1234 »

How has PAL been doing with their Air Canada CPA arrangement? Are they going to build a hangar in Halifax? I expect they will be eating more of Jazzs cake if they do well.

PAL has hangars, an FBO and an extensive foot print in YHZ that was there long before and goes well beyond their CPA.

As far as them eating Jazz’s lunch? They have what 6 tails as part of this CPA and their constant hiring adds across many platforms show they’re having staffing issues just like every other regional. Don’t think they could eat any operators lunch, even if they wanted to.

I think all the Jazz Line mtce Mech got layed off in YHZ because of PAL taking the routes over.

PAL has leased another hangar in YHZ that fits the Q400, and if I am not mistaken about a dozen maintenance personnel working there now.

Is it true that PAL outsources it's maintenance to third parties?
