Logbook certification

Post by Bryce55 »

Before or after the interview does Porter require you to get your logbook certified by your previous employers?

I don't believe so. I can only speak for myself directly and I was not asked to have my logbook certified.

Probably would relate to your experience levels. If you apply with bare minimums they probably would like a stamp, but I haven’t heard of it being asked specifically.

I think I got the stamp from previous employer just in case. But I don't think it was actually required.

I never had my logbook signed by employers. Even for my ATPL application, I just totaled up the pages and gave it to them. Never had an issue.

Would have been a bit tricky for one company I worked for since I was the chief pilot. Do I sign my own logbook saying I was an employee and me self flew the planes?
