Hello,
I am currently doing my ATPL in Canada with a seaplane conversion / time building on the side with the same school. I wanted to know where to look to start contacting companies that might want to hire me. By the time I will be done I should have around 200hrs +20hrs on float. I was told that my best odds are regarding small remote companies with few planes. Do you have any tips for me on where to look for those companies and how i could possibly get a job there? I am from Quebec but I am bilingual in french and english. Ideally a job in northern Quebec would be ideal but I would really go anywhere especially in places like Yukon or Northwest territories.

Thanks a lot!

To clarify- you're working on your CPL right now. You'll be working on an ATPL after you have a CPL and are building experience. Baby steps.
Years ago, when I was starting out, I went on the TC Civil Aviation Registry and I looked for every operator that flew C185, DHC2, etc. Pay them a visit. Tell them that you are starting out and have x number of float hours (the more the better) and ask for a job working the dock. Talk to the pilots working there before you accept a job and make sure that they hire off the dock for their flying positions.
